Electric G Line

Brompton Electric bikes can be taken on most forms of public transport including Transport for London services. Check with the local operator if in doubt.

It's an all-new system meticulously engineered from scratch to work in the city and beyond.

The new Controller is more compact, a single unit, smarter and future proofed, with built in features and over-the-air updates using the Brompton electric app. 

The battery is 345Wh (30Wh more than the original Brompton Electric battery).

The Front Carrier block has been redesigned to be more compact and more reliable, it also has direct wiring to the front light, and an accessories port for upcoming accessories. 

The Electric G Line is equipped with a 9W front light meaning owners can ride on trails in the pitch dark. 

The motor is rear wheel drive. 

All cables and connectors are custom to Electric G Line and easy to use.

The battery takes 5 Hours to charge from 0 to 100% and 4 hours from 0 to 80% (indicated by 5x static LED's. Most of the time you won't be charging from 0%.)

The Electric G Line supports itself when in park mode. Simply flip the rear wheel under and see the magic.

It has the Brompton 4-speed gearing system with a 160% ratio/range.

The frame comes with a 7-year-warranty if registered. We also offer 3-year warranty on the Electric system when registered online. 

Compared to the classic 16-inch Brompton Electric bikes, the G Line features 20-inch wheels for added stability, hydraulic disc brakes for powerful stopping, and updated geometry for smoother rides on longer commutes, mixed terrain, and even light gravel paths.
