Motorhome & Caravan Show 2026 Prize Draw Terms and Conditions (UK)

These are the Terms and Conditions for the Motorhome & Caravan Show 2026 Prize Draw (the "Prize Draw").

1. PROMOTER
   1. The Prize Draw is promoted by Brompton Bicycle Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales (registered no. 01261512) whose registered office is at Unit 1, Greenford Park, Ockham Drive, Greenford, Middlesex, UB6 0FD ("Brompton", "Promoter", "we", "our", "us"), and is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
2. ELIGIBILITY
   1. This Prize Draw is only open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except employees of Brompton, their immediate families, agents, suppliers, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of this Prize Draw or any of Brompton's holding or subsidiary companies.
   2. Only one entry per person is permitted.
3. TO ENTER
   1. To enter, participants must submit the following via our entry form at [link to be created]:
      1. First Name;
      2. Last Name;
      3. Email Address;
      4. Country; and
      5. a guess (in centimetres, using numerals) as to how much brass brazing rod is used to connect all of the hand-brazed frame parts of a Brompton C Line bicycle.
   2. For the avoidance of doubt, the amount of brazing rod refers to hand-brazed components only and excludes auto-brazed components.
   3. You may optionally choose to receive marketing communications from Brompton by ticking the relevant box. Consent to marketing communications is not required to enter the Prize Draw and will not affect your chances of winning. You may withdraw this consent at any time without affecting your entry into the Prize Draw.
   4. By submitting your entry, you indicate your agreement to these Terms and Conditions and our privacy policy. No purchase is necessary.
4. COMPETITION PERIOD
   1. The competition opens on Tuesday, 13 October 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 19 October 2026.
   2. Any entries received after the closing date will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
5. PRIZE
   1. The prize consists of one Brompton C Line 4-speed bicycle with a retail value of £1,449 (as of October 2026).
   2. There is one prize available.
   3. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.
   4. Brompton reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
6. WINNER SELECTION
   1. Following the closing date, all valid entries will be reviewed. The winner will be the entrant whose guess is closest to the amount of brass brazing rod used to connect the hand-brazed frame parts of a Brompton C Line bicycle.
   2. The Promoter's determination of the correct answer shall be final and binding.
   3. Where two or more entrants submit equally close guesses, the winner will be selected at random from those tied entries.
   4. The winner will be selected within 7 days of the competition closing date. The outcome of the draw will be final.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION
   1. The winner will be contacted via email to the email address provided at entry (the "Winner Notification").
   2. The winner will be required to respond to confirm eligibility and acceptance of the prize within 14 days of initial contact by Brompton. This must be done by responding directly to the Winner Notification.
   3. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of the Winner Notification, Brompton reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
8. PRIZE FULFILMENT
   1. The winner must provide a valid UK delivery address and any information reasonably required to facilitate fulfilment of the prize.
   2. Please allow up to 7 weeks for delivery of the bicycle from confirmation of sizing and shipping details.
   3. Brompton shall not be liable for any delays outside its reasonable control.
9. PUBLICITY
   1. The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the Prize Draw. Participation is voluntary and is not a condition of prize acceptance.
10. FURTHER TERMS
    1. Maintenance, service and running costs of the prize are the responsibility of the winner from the date of delivery.
    2. Warranty and its duration will be confirmed with the winner before delivery of the prize.
    3. The winner should consider obtaining insurance for the prize in the case of accidents, theft or damage to it.
    4. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, Brompton may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.
    5. Brompton reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct, or if, in its reasonable opinion, it considers that there is a significant risk that the entrant may bring the Brompton brand into disrepute.
    6. Brompton reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the Prize Draw where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
    7. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete, or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
    8. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the Prize Draw and/or confirming acceptance of the prize. Brompton cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of the prize.
    9. Brompton reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose, and the prize may be withheld unless and until Brompton is satisfied with the verification.
    10. As far as is permitted by law, Brompton, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner, or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of Brompton, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The winner's statutory rights are not affected.
    11. Brompton will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions caused by any events or conditions beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, terrorist attacks, armed conflicts, riots, fires, floods, explosions, storms, failure of a utility service, transport or telecommunications network (including the internet), pandemics, malicious damage or compliance with any law.
    12. Any personal data supplied in connection with this Prize Draw will be processed by Brompton Bicycle Limited, as controller, in accordance with Brompton's privacy policy, available at https://www.brompton.com/legal/privacy-policy, and only for the purposes of administering this Prize Draw unless the participant has opted in to receive marketing communications. Entrants retain their applicable data-protection rights.
    13. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect of the remainder of the provisions.
    14. By entering this Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
    15. The Promoter's decision regarding all matters relating to this Prize Draw shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    16. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in relation to any dispute (contractual or non-contractual) concerning these Terms and Conditions.
