These terms and conditions (‘Terms’) apply when you pre-order a product from Brompton Bicycle Retail Limited via our Website. In these Terms we use ‘Brompton’, ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘us’ to refer to Brompton Bicycle Retail Limited. By placing a pre-order, you indicate that you accept these Terms and agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not place a pre-order. 

Placing a pre-order 

A pre-released order (“Pre-order”) is an order for a product that is not yet available for general sale by Brompton. 

In order to place a Pre-order you will need to provide certain information, including but not limited to, name, phone number and postal address. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the information provided is accurate and up to date. If we do not have accurate information, we will be unable to notify you when the Pre-order is shipped, when it is ready for collection or refund any Pre-order payments.  

Payment 

We reserve the right not to accept your Pre-order if you do not meet any relevant eligibility criteria, volume of purchase requirements or credit check. Your Pre-order is only accepted once the Pre-ordered product is shipped. If you are placing your Pre-order with Klarna please refer to the relevant section of the Additional Terms below. 

When you place a Pre-order you will need to pay the full price of the product. You may cancel your Pre-order and get a full refund of your payment at any time before the product has been shipped or collected. After shipment or collection please refer to the Additional Terms below for further return options. 

Delivery 

Pre-orders will be shipped or be ready for collection as soon as is practicable, subject to availability. The estimated shipping date of your pre-order is subject to change. Once your product is shipped, delivery times may vary depending on your location. 

Cancellation 

A Pre-order may be cancelled by either you or Brompton at any time and for any reason prior to you receiving notice from us that the product has been shipped or is ready for collection. If cancellation occurs before the product has been shipped or is ready for collection, you will be entitled to a full refund of your Pre-order payment. 

Additional Terms 

The purchase of the Product from our Website is subject to additional terms and conditions provided by Brompton which can be found on https://www.brompton.com/legal/terms-of-use.  

We will process any personal data provided to us in line with our privacy policy which can be found on https://www.brompton.com/legal/privacy-policy. 

Changes to these Terms 

We reserve the right to change and update these Terms from time to time, in order to reflect changes in law or best practice, changes in our business practices, or to deal with additional features of functionalities which we may introduce to the Website. 

Law and Jurisdiction 

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
