Riders from over 25 countries rolled into London’s King’s Cross for the 2025 Brompton World Championships, turning the city into a global hub of folding-bike fever.

The weekend launched in style with a lively Friday evening social ride, where the Brompton community reconnected, forged new friendships, and snuck a peek at their rivals before the big race day arrived!

With the sun beaming down and excitement in the air, 500 racers packed into Coal Drops Yard for a day of fast-paced fun at the Brompton World Championships. True to tradition, lycra was banned, but style certainly wasn’t. Riders wowed in everything from funky shirts to outrageous costumes, with Chi Ling Tong taking home the coveted Best Dressed title.

Over 10 thrilling heats and five laps of a 900m course led to a dramatic 10-lap final, where the Fastest Male and Female each pedalled their way to glory and a custom BWC bike.

The weekend wrapped up on a high note Sunday, as the Brompton community once again took to the streets for a relaxed social ride, finishing with a well-earned picnic in the sunshine at Greenwich.
