C Line Electric Subscription

  For both rolling monthly and annual subscribers, after being a subscriber for a minimum of 6 months you will receive a voucher code applicable to both Electric and non-electric Brompton bikes. This code can be used on any model in our online store and is valid for 1 year from issue. You can only use one of the voucher codes. 
 

• For both electric & non-electric Brompton bikes, you will receive a £200 voucher. 

You’ll get a Brompton folding bike delivered to your door complete with lights and a pump, insured against theft* and damage throughout your subscription. Plus, enjoy a professional annual service by our Brompton experts.​

You will receive a folding Brompton Electric bike, battery and charger. The Battery will need to be fully charged by you before you ride.​

This depends on many factors such as terrain, temperature and more, you can expect a minimum of 20 miles, and up to 45 miles in ideal conditions.​

Your Brompton bike rental will be from our refurbished fleet – A fully serviced and maintained C Line or Electric C Line with a Mid-rise Handlebar. 

Your Brompton will be dispatched within 3-5 working days of your order providing you passed our background checks.

We will notify you once your bike has been shipped to let you know when you can expect your delivery.

Our bikes are unique in that it is designed for all. The bike adjusts just like a regular bike and comes equipped with an extended seat post that can fit someone up to 6ft 6. 

Please keep hold of your Brompton Bike box that it is delivered in. This will be essential for when you need to return your bike for a service or at the end of your contract. When a return is requested our driver will bring the labels, you simply need to secure the bike back in its original box.

Returning your electric Brompton folding bike.​

It is at the upmost importance to take care when shipping an electric bike battery. For this reason, you must check your battery for any visible signs of damage prior to your bike collection.​

Signs of damage are:​

• Crack or perforation to the plastic body​
• Exhibiting a heat or raised temperature​
• Smoking​
• Bulging plastic​

​If your battery shows any signs of damage, please do not hand it over to the return courier. Contact our customer service team immediately for assistance.​

For rolling monthly customers you must give 30 days’ notice, you can request to cancel your subscription from the dashboard once logged into your Brompton account.

For our 12-month customers you may be eligible to cancel early If you have had a change in circumstances and it’s within our terms and conditions,  you can contact customer service to find out more. 

When your contract is up you will receive an email from Brompton asking what you would like to do going forwards. If you decide to cancel you simply return your Brompton or automatically go onto a rolling contract until you decide to cancel. 

To make sure as many households as possible can experience a Brompton folding bike, we currently limit subscriptions to one per household.

After 6 months you will be able to request a service via the dashboard once logged in to your account. If you don’t have this option, please reach out to our customer service team. 

If you have returned your bike due to accidental damage and we can’t repair it, we will issue you a new bike after a successful claim on the insurance. Excess payment will be required, please see our terms and conditions.

For Brompton Elecctric bikes if you believe there is any damage to the battery, please contact our customer service team immediately. ​

You don’t need to – it folds up so always take your Brompton with you.

Please be advised Brompton Bike Hire’s fleet insurance will be null and void if the bike is locked up and left unattended. For further information please visit our Terms and Conditions page

Contact the police for a crime reference number and then contact our customer service team immediately with the following information:

• Date & Time of the theft 
• Location of the theft
• Crime reference number
• A detailed account of the incident
• Pictures/videos of the location where the bike was kept
• Any other supporting pictures will be appreciate

If you no longer have the original Brompton box, you will need to purchase one for your bike collection, either for servicing or at the end of your contract. 

There is also an excess charge on the insurance should you need to claim, please refer to the terms & conditions. 
 

Your included Brompton insurance does not cover theft if the bike is stolen when it is not with you.
