“Living in a city like London, it’s much easier to get around on a bicycle,” says Duke Agyapong, who we know both as a bike mechanic and a racer. “But with a Brompton, being able to fold up makes jumping on any train and getting out of the city so much more convenient.” And it’s with that go-anywhere freedom in mind that the Londoner recently tested the new Brompton G Line, on a trip to the beautiful Isle of Wight. 

“I’ve been itching for a bike holiday for months now,” says 32-year-old Duke. “Fortunately, it’s easy to get to the Isle of Wight by train, so with the G Line, this was my opportunity. There is so much to explore, specifically gravel! With my G Line, it was a proper adventure – a lovely 60km loop with lunch by the pier, beautiful weather, views, and great riding.”

“What makes the G Line the perfect addition to modern adventure is that now you can do so much more without the restrictions or worry of terrain,” adds Duke. “It gave me a stable, comfortable, and solid ride.”
