#TryBrompton: Bike Month 2017 in NYC

May is Bike Month and Brompton is celebrating all month long with demos and other events throughout New York City.


  • All month long, Transportation Alternatives is running their Bike to Work Challenge.
    • Log at least five rides for a chance to win a Brompton NYC Edition bike.
    • Prizes for the workplaces with the highest percentage of bike commuters.
    • A chance for your workplace to borrow a fleet of Brompton bikes.
    • Brompton demos in DUMBO, Brooklyn at the Bike Home From Work Party on May 19th.

  • We'll be at Bike Expo New York on Friday May 5 and Saturday May 6.
    • Visit us at booth #507 to check out our Cambridge Satchel Company collaboration and the NYC Edition.
    • Participate in the Brompton Roller Racing.
    • This event is completely free!
  • On Saturday May 20, we're participating in Bike the Branches with the Brooklyn Public Library.
    • The riders who visit the most branches will receive a Brompton NYC Edition bike and bag.
    • Three guided tours of brownstone Brooklyn with the chance to borrow a Brompton for free.
    • Demo rides and Brompton Roller Racing at the Central Library Block Party, with a bag going to the winner.
  • Brompton makes its debut at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum
    • After being added to the collection last year, the Making | Breaking: New Arrivals exhibit marks the first time the Raw Lacquer S2L-X (and a folded Red M6L) will be on display to the public. The exhibition runs from May 19 to October 29.
  • We'll also be doing overnight demo events through our local Manhattan and Brooklyn dealers in May and June.
