Normafa, Budapest, Hungary
The Brompton World Championship Hungary 2017 took place at the beautiful Normafa, where participants had a grandiose sight of Budapest.
We met up with all the participants at cog-wheel railway station at 9.30am. We then made our way to Normafa for the race. The track between Normafa and the Cable Chair Station is 1.7 km long, which we passed 5 times.
The male winners of the race were:
- Babos Tibor
- Ivo Petrous
- Takácsy Gergely
The female winners of the race were:
- Ökördi Réka
- Csobod Luca
- Révész Barbara
The 1st place male and female winners will participate in the 2018 BWC final in London.
We also held an extra optional race for the participants, where they had to climb a short track of 250m distance, 27m elevation. This race was won by Ivo Petrous.
