Start your ride. And feel the torque. The fine-tuned sensor in the bottom bracket knows exactly when to kick in (smoothly). So you can breeze up hills and cruise the flats.

For flatter cities, short rides and even infrequent use, the 4-speed is often better. But other times, you might want or need more. That’s where our 12-speed comes in. An expertly engineered solution that gives you more gears and more range while still fitting into our compact solution to life on two wheels.

No. You can't change a standard Brompton into an Electric Brompton. Brompton Electric bikes are all EN15194 compliant. This means that the bike’s safety and safety related performance requirements for design, assembly and testing of Electrically Powered Assisted Cycles (EPAC) are as required when sold in Europe.
