Touring on a Brompton

Adventurer Alastair Humphreys came upon the idea for this trip, part of his series of Microadventures, whilst listening to the cricket; Muckle Flugga (the North most point in the Shetlands) was mentioned and the idea was born. Check out the Full Blog Here

In June 2011, along with Joe Sheffer, the pair made their way from the south of the Shetland Islands, right the way to the top, by Brompton bike and packraft, an inflatable canoe. No buses, no ferries. This video by Joe shows the challenges they faced along the way.
