BWCUSA Racer Profile: Todd M.

Todd M.
NYCTA Train Operator

"I was born and raised in NYC. I live in Queens, and I work as a train operator. I use my Brompton mostly to commute, but I do plenty of recreational riding, too. I've done the NYC Five Boro Tour twice, and last year I rode 100 miles in the NYC Century."

Why Brompton?: "I like Brompton because of the portability of the bike. It folds so small, but it feels like a regular bike when you're riding. I ride an M3R, but I've made some custom modifications to it."

On this year's BWC events in London and the USA: "I'm looking forward to the USA race. In London (at this year's BWC Final), I was caught off guard by the speed of the race! I've been training this time."

Any advice for riders new to the BWC?: "Be ready! And have fun."

Look for Todd and nearly 100 other Bromptoneers on the course at this year's #BWCUSA event in Richmond, Virginia on September 25. See you out there!
