Arabba (Parking Funivie Porta Vescovo)
Three years in a row we climbed the mythical Stelvio with our Brommies. Last year we decided to move to the Dolomites.
One of the best ways to visit this Unesco world heritage site is during the yearly Sellaronda Bike Day: more than 20,000 cyclists ride on some of the most scenic roads in Europe. It’s free and no cars on the roads!
Saturday 23rd June
We’ll meet at 8.30am in Arabba (Parking Funivie Porta Vescovo)
58 km, 4 passes (Passo Campolongo, Passo Gardena, Passo Sella and Passo Pordoi), just over 2000 meters elevation gain with gradients averaging seven per cent. This is real fun… and pain!
After the ride, back to where we started, we'll all have a picnic (every participant is invited to bring some food or beverage to share with the group).
So, what are you waiting for? Register here (it’s free) and start to climb!
